Learn editing online with me! Free AudioTrain ‘Editing for beginners’ session

Audio UK’s training arm, AudioTrain, recently released a set of online training modules which anyone can access for free! I was asked by Juliette Nicholls from Pineapple Audio Production, who was the mastermind behind the whole project, if I would contribute a session on editing for beginners.

I decided to show an editing workflow using Descript and Reaper. These are tools being widely used in the audio industry, but I feel that Descript in particular often gets used without people necessarily being supported with training in how to get the most from it. So I wanted to share my workflow, as well as some some of my top dos and don’ts for working with transcription based editing software.
