Derailed: The Story of HS2 – BBC Radio 4 – Sound design and mix

I did the sound design and mixing for this really interesting ten part series looking at “what went wrong with HS2”. It was great to work on, partly because the content was fascinating. It was also really rewarding figuring out how to bring the story to life in sound (without giving into the temptation to fill it with choo choos), and finishing it off with the nicest mix possible.

The series was produced by Bob Nicholson at Whistledown, for BBC Radio 4’s ‘Understand’ strand. It was presented by the excellent journalist Kate Lamble.
