In the studio with Alex Reeves, session drummer

Alex Reeves is a session drummer who’s played with bands and musicians including Elbow, Guy Garvey, Bat For Lashes, Dizzee Rascal and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

He also taught me to play drums! When we met up to record this interview it was the first time we’d seen each other in about 12 years. I wanted this piece to have lots of cool drumming in it, and I managed to get that, so I was pretty happy.
